Well I am coming to the end of my journey here in Africa. It is kinda bumming me out, but at the same time it is a relief to know that home is just around the corner, well somehow. I don’t really have a “home” when I get “home,” but I am sure it will be fine. I just am not really looking forward to trying to find an apartment and a job. I really came here with better intentions for this entry, but hey, it’s 4 am.

Hi Derek,
we have all be praying for your last few weeks. I hope it has helped. We got a message from Mel’s mom a couple of days ago saying that Mel was coming home because she could not get the ticket changed. I hope that has not been too hard for you. You have relyed on God the whole time you have been away and I know he has your best in mind.
We can’t wait to see you again. You do have a home to come to. It is at 539 Jesse James drive and you are welcome to stay as long as you wish.
If you get this message tonight/tomorrow morning your time please give us a call or write back to us to let us know what is happening. Are you comimg home this next week? Are you going to stay a few more days to finish up?
